The Big Bad Wolf In My House by Valerie Fontaine

Valerie Fontaine’s book “The Big Bad Wolf in My House” tells the story of a young girl who lives with her mother and, as of recently, Mom’s New Friend. Much like the Big Bad Wolf of fairytales, this new person is at first kind, only to slowly become a scary presence in the household. In a book designed to help children process this all-too-real scenario, the little girl and her mother find coping and eventually hope.
