Founder and Bereavement Specialist
Leslie Delp, M.A.
Leslie holds a B.S.Ed. in Elementary Education from Pennsylvania State University and a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Towson University. Leslie is the owner of Grief and Bereavement Services, a private counseling practice. Leslie is the founder and now the Bereavement Specialist at Olivia’s House – A Grief and Loss Center for children located in York, PA. She created the “Hearts Can Heal” Children’s Bereavement Support Program, which is one of many educational programs offered to grieving families.
Leslie has been blessed to learn from the “true experts in grief and loss”, the hundreds of children who have graduated from the programs at Olivia’s House – A Grief and Loss Center for Children.
Like a healing quilt, Leslie weaves the broken threads of the personal loss of her son Kristopher, into a firm pattern of meaning. Each strand playing an integral role, she works to educate and support families in the Central Pennsylvania community and across the nation!
Executive Director
K.C. Delp
K.C. holds the position of Executive Director at Olivia’s House. He graduated from McDaniel College with his Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree with departmental honors in Communication and Film Production. He has been involved in the mission of Olivia’s House from its beginning, serving on the first board of directors as the historian. His talents were nationally recognized when he was elected to the Board of Directors for the National Alliance of Grieving Children in June of 2009. He is ecstatic to put all his abilities to work for the outstanding mission of Olivia’s House to honor the legacy of his brother Kristopher Eric!
Clinical Director
Julia Dunn, M.Ed., LPC
Julia holds the position of Clinical Director at Olivia’s House. She started out at Olivia’s House as a volunteer Companion in the “Hearts Can Heal” program and has felt privileged to be part of the growth and transformation that can come out of the bereavement process, which is something that she has personally experienced. Julia received her B.S. in Psychology from Lebanon Valley College, her Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Millersville University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Julia is excited to continue the work of helping hearts heal at Olivia’s House!
Development Director
Michelle Fox
Michelle Fox holds the position of Development Director at Olivia’s House, where she has been employed for over ten years. Fresh out of college, Michelle joined the team at Olivia’s House as the Program Coordinator and transitioned to the role as Development Director. During her tenure, she has worn many hats such as: Gala committee chair, volunteer coordinator, property facilitator, Administrative Director, and internship coordinator. Michelle enjoys meeting new faces in our community and hopes to meet you too!

Libby
On July 4th, 2020, Liberty Belle Delp found her fur-ever home at Olivia’s House, even though she gets to sleep full-time at K.C.’s house! Libby, as she is affectionately nicknamed, is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. This perfect girl is sweet and acts like a princess… we now understand why the Queen of England has Corgis! Libby is the youngest Olivia’s House employee and is very treat-motivated (most of the time). She enjoys interacting with the staff, but she especially loves the attention she receives from Leslie AND Hazel. Libby is a great addition to the team and brings joy and love to the grieving families who walk through our doors, and most importantly to the staff who often find themselves in need of some vicarious trauma support.

Samantha
Samantha came to Olivia’s House when her owner, Bonnie Lloyd, worked as our Administrative Assistant. When Bonnie decided to take a trip around the world, she asked us if we would be interested in adopting Sam. Sam has made herself right at home with the children and she enjoyed The Healing Garden of Hope more than anyone. Her ego was huge and she believed everyone was here to visit with her! Samantha crossed over the rainbow bridge after a very short battle with cancer on May 4, 2017. To say our office was sad, would be the understatement of a lifetime. We will always consider Sam as our “first Olivia’s House therapy dog” and as such, we will ‘Sammabrate’ her memory always. She will stay on our website as a reminder of what every “Olivia’s House dog” should aspire to be!
