Since its beginnings in 2002, Olivia’s House has relied on the support from folks like YOU, to help us serve grieving children and their families at no-cost. When times were tough and the economy was challenging, our Angels have always ensured that Olivia’s House would remain a permanent fixture. We are humbled and ever grateful for everyone who made these TWO grief centers officially…OURS!
While the burden of our mortgage was lifted in 2022, the many expenses associated with keeping the lights on, the water flowing, and the doors open remains. To keep our facilities warm and cozy for the children, we spend an average of $24,000 annually. To this avail, each year, Olivia’s House looks for twenty-four “angels” to defer the monthly cost of the utility expenses at our York and Hanover centers. As Angels of Energy, individuals and businesses play an integral role in helping to create and sustain Olivia’s House. By paying the $1,000.00 monthly utility fees, our Angels of Energy help Olivia’s House in the most profound way!
Simply pick a month and center and you will be recognized on our Angels of Energy plaque and your name will permanently appear on the Olivia’s House “Giving Tree,” In addition, you will be listed on this website. An Angel of Energy provides valuable support that keeps the “doorway” open to life changing programs for children and their families in our community.
