Leslie holds a B.S.Ed. in Elementary Education from Pennsylvania State University and a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Towson University. Leslie is the owner of Grief and Bereavement Services, a private counseling practice. Leslie is the founder and now the Bereavement Specialist at Olivia\’s House – A Grief and Loss Center for children located in York, PA. She created the \”Hearts Can Heal\” Children\’s Bereavement Support Program, which is one of many educational programs offered to grieving families. Leslie has been blessed to learn from the \”true experts in grief and loss\”, the hundreds of children who have graduated from the programs at Olivia\’s House – A Grief and Loss Center for Children. Like a healing quilt, Leslie weaves the broken threads of the personal loss of her son Kristopher, into a firm pattern of meaning. Each strand playing an integral role, she works to educate and support families in the Central Pennsylvania community and across the nation!
