Whether it’s a family reaching out for support after loss, a parent becoming empowered to answer their children’s questions honestly, or a child courageously stepping foot through our door seeking healing, Olivia’s House: A Grief and Loss Center for Children is here to meet the needs of our bereaved community.\nWhen children walk through our doors for a Game Night, they think they’re here just to play. Yet, beneath the fun, something remarkable happens: through therapeutic games, they rebuild trust, master communication, and reconnect with the joy they feared was lost. Whether it’s strategizing through a challenge or sharing stories between turns, families discover that the best part of the game isn’t winning. . . it’s not having to play alone. From the compassionate guidance of our staff and volunteers to the comforting connection of peers who “get it,” each roll of the dice brings these brave families one step closer to healing.\nJust as every meaningful game brings people together, we invite you to join us for an evening that celebrates connection, compassion, and hope. The 24th Annual Olivian Gala will take place on Saturday, September 26, at the Country Club of York.
